QA Engineer – Manual + Automation Testing

Job Summary: -

Rotten Grapes Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of manual testing concepts and basic hands-on experience in automation testing using JavaScript and Playwright. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of web applications by identifying defects, executing test cases, and collaborating with the development team. 

Key Responsibilities: -

• Understand application requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases. 
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing. 
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects. 
• Perform UI and cross-browser testing of web applications. 
• Develop and execute basic automated test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright. 
• Perform basic API testing using Postman. 
• Validate application data using basic SQL queries. 
• Maintain test documentation and report testing progress. 
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve defects and improve application quality.

Educational Qualification: -

 Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile: -

• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing. 
• Willingness to learn and improve automation testing skills. 
• Ability to understand application workflows and identify potential issues. 
• Interest in working on modern web applications and software products.
